In a culture where taking control of our own lives is urged, trusting God has become a religious platitude rather than a life-changing attitude. So what does trusting God really look like?
With a friendship that crosses generational boundaries, Sharon, Gwen and Mary - have traveled the tough roads of life to discover the peace and power that comes from grabbing the hand of God and trusting His plan. Sharing life stories between the pages, they bring laughter and sometime tears, but always spiritual growth.
Each of the 12-week sections concludes with a Bible study guide and a journal page, inviting readers to lock arms with the friendship-trio, and share their discoveries with other women in a small group setting, or consider individually in quiet time.

DOVE AWARD CONGRATULATIONS
We are excited to celebrate with Sandi Patty as she took home her 40th Dove Award on April 20, 2011 for Inspirational Album of the Year for The Edge of the Divine CD. Gwen Smith co-wrote a song on Sandi's album called Faith Dancing.

(FRANKLIN, TN… 08/1/08) Cofounder and worship leader for the growing women’s conference “Girlfriends in God” and author of the newly published Harvest House book Broken into Beautiful, Gwen Smith recently recorded a twelve song set while leading an evening of worship at Lake Forest Church in Huntersville, NC. Partnering with Brentwood-Benson Music Publishing’s worship centric label, Great Worship Songs, Smith, a resident of Charlotte, NC, will release the collection titled Unsearchable on October 7th, 2008. Songs from Unsearchable will be available through GreatWorshipSongs.com as audio, lead sheet, and chord chart resources by the end September with additional resource placements to follow.

Smith has been blessed with a platform to directly impact the lives of worshippers across the country. Unsearchable is the latest component to her growing ministry, including familiar moments such as “Jesus I Am Resting, Resting,” “Through All Generations” and “Broken into Beautiful,” which was recorded by Mandisa (American Idol finalist) on the recent Women of Faith album It Must Be Grace. This new album concentrates on the introduction of original corporate songs, further solidifying Great Worship Songs as a brand connected with emerging worship songs.

Many of you have worshiped with me and know my songs, yet don't the story of how they came to be. You've heard me talk about brokenness and forgiveness, but don't know details about when I was broken and needed forgiveness the most. I humbly submit to you that I am a woman who loves Him much because I am a woman who has been forgiven of much.
